Welcome to the ICANN Nominating Committee (NomCom) Application Portal!

Note:  March 8, 2025; Based on recent Board elections by the ccNSO and GNSO, the ICANN Bylaw Regional Diversity Calculation indicates that Board candidates from North America will not be eligible for NomCom appointment this year. Impacted applicants who self-identified as being from North America but also have citizenship or residency from countries other than North America are still eligible to apply. These applicants may either submit a new application via the Submittable portal or contact NomCom Operations support at nomcom2025@icann.org

A few things to know before you get started:

• The application period will open on 14 January 2025 at 00:00 UTC and close on 28 March 2025 at 23:59 UTC.
• To complete an application for one of the ICANN NomCom-selected Open Leadership Positions, you will need to:
• Create an ICANN Account or log into your existing account.
• Click on the "NomCom Application" tile to complete your application 
• Note that you can save your application and return later to continue the process as long as you submit the final application before the deadline
• The NomCom Application Portal platform works best on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Please be sure to use one of these browsers to complete your application.

The NomCom is using the “Submittable” platform to manage the application process.  Your submission will be confirmed by email from submittable.com. Please be sure to check your spam folder if you do not see a response within one business day.

2025 Open Leadership Positions: 

You may apply for a MAXIMUM of two of the following positions:

If you want to apply for two positions, you must submit a separate application for each one. Start by selecting the first position you’re interested in from the list below and complete the application process for that role.  Then repeat the process for the second position.

• ICANN Board (three positions for three-year terms)
• Public Technical Identifiers Board (one position for a three-year term)
• At-Large Advisory Committee (three positions for two-year terms)
• Country Code Names Supporting Organization Council (one position for a three-year term)
• Generic Names Supporting Organization Council (two positions for two-year terms)
